**INSTALLING** POLE TO BIRD FEEDER

You will need: Hammer for rebar "only" if planting in ground
1. Take the rounded edge of the copper and gently insert into the base of the feeder.  When installing the feeder be sure to press firmly in the middle of the plate to secure to pole to plate.   Do NOT force the plate as you could damage the edging/adornments.
2. The pole and plate should fit snug and you will hear a "tap"... this assures proper fit
3. If there is a "wiggle" in the stem-add a bit of tape around the pole and repeat above steps
4. Be sure to check your flower periodically; it may need adjustment. (this is normal)
5. If the bracket changes color, or the paint chips; that is normal and will not effect its strength
6. Rain water is perfect to clean, or you can use mild soap/water. Fading of items may occur. This is to be expected of a handmade re-purposed item, made from antique and  recycled materials.
7. To take apart: Gently hold feeder and and pull the pole firmly out with a little wiggling.
Do NOT force the items in any circumstance. Blemishes may occur.

If you are planting DIRECTLY in the ground:

We recommend you buy a 24" inch piece of rebar (visit your local hardware store)
DO NOT hammer YOUR COPPER STEMMED FLOWER  directly INTO THE GROUND!
COPPER IS TOO SOFT AND YOU WILL DAMAGE YOUR ITEM- to no repair. Find ground area near bushes or other foilage in your garden or covered patio area.Hammer rebar at least 8-12 inches into the ground. Take your pole and slide over rebar.

Planting in containers:

Find your container of choice  and gently push the copper pole securely into the dirt. If the dirt is too dry the flower may tilt/fall/break. Add some water to soil and be sure to push the pole deep into the planter.                                                                                             Then add your feeder, some bird seed, water and display proudly!

Other Ideas:

Plant near pool areas or patio sitting areas and add pretty candles or plants to your feeders.
Add your personal travel treasures, shells, pine cones or MnM's to snack on as you read a book nearby.
Let us know how you have planted your feeder! We'd love to hear from you. Happy Gardening!

Congratulations on your purchase

Please be gentle when digging the ground and or placing the flower where you want to "plant" it.

When deciding where to plant, please consider: weather, animals, climate conditions and visual placement.

We take great care in making it for indoor/outdoor use.

We recommend planting near partial-covered areas for security and longevity of the “art flowers”.

Some flowers have been painted- light fading is normal. We use an indoor/outdoor glue to adhere together.
